You’re Welcome

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

Whenever my son sneezes and you say "Bless you" to him, he replies, "You're welcome". Obviously, the correct response is "Thank you". It makes me laugh every time. And, of course, I don't correct him.

FiOStrations

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

I have Verizon for almost every utility imaginable. If they offered electricity and water, I'd probably get it from Verizon (ahh -- the convenience of "one-bill"). I have had very few problems in the year since I happily dumped Comcast for Verizon FiOS for my TV and Internet service. I ...

iPod’s Dead. Now What? Part III

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

Part I Part II On Saturday, I went to the mall to play with the iPod touch at the Apple Store. Unlike Best Buy, they actually have WiFi, so you can browse the Internet. Yeah...the touch is super cool. However, I ended up buying an 8 GB iPod nano instead. Other than the ...

Pushing Daisies

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

All spring and summer, I had been reading and reading and reading about Pushing Daisies, a new TV show on ABC. I had been reading that it was the highest scoring show ever in focus groups -- or something like that. I had been reading that the show is getting ...
